PRESENTATION

Hello my name is Luz Patricia Pineda Ríos. I have two beautiful children. I study in UNAD (Universidad Nacional abierta y a distancia). I am studying the module Material Design for Virtual Environments. I teach in Gimnasio Los Monjes school. I really enjoy working with young people, because they are very tender, kind, loving, active, intelligent, courageous, they are full of energy all the time, looking forward to new knowledge, not afraid of the changes, always seeking to be better every day.        This space has been prepared to present the different elements of grammar, such as tenses, use of modal verbs, conditionals, reported speech, relative clauses and others, I invite you to read, to see, and let me know your opinion about the blog, your ideas are very important to me. Help me to improve and increase it.

     In this blog you will find on the homepage  all the topics of grammar on the right, you can click on each one and immediately you will access to the information. As a teacher of English you can give your blog address to their students so that they consult, read, transcribed, all the content of  the item they need; students have the opportunity to use a tool of interest, which they will use and enjoy it in a safely way.

THE WAY YOU WOULD USE THIS TOOL FOR TEACHING

     A blog can be continuously published, readers can leave your comment for free. Topics may be varied, a class in a physical classroom will be well complemented if teachers give to students a link of a blog or any other web 2.0 tool to write, brainstorm, design, work in teams, and they are even can invite to also provide images, videos or enrich the space.
It can also leave tasks, give directions, providing more resources, leaving more links consultation of the same themes etc.

THE IMPORTANCE OF USING A BLOG

 

A blog is a very useful tool because it can reinforce themes, increasing the quality of learning thereof. The teachers who provides a link of a blog built by themselves or others, they are with the technology era and this tool is a good reference material for the student, in this way they will motivate the students and will show better results, everybody can be used as often as needed. Moreover increases satisfaction among students and in the same teacher.

All of us need to use technology not only it will be used by friends or acquaintances, also give the opportunity to many people unknown to acquire information useful for their academic, personal and professional development.

An educational blog may contain readings, exercises, explanations of a topic, videos, games, there can expose all the necessary strategies to strengthen knowledge. Any teacher or student, regardless of the academic area, can create resources and content of educational issues with the ease with which they create and nurture the Blog become very striking because thanks to the wizards and templates (designs) clipart, although no to concentrate on the technical implementation but on the content and materials published.
